Gone are the days of running after friends or professors to understand difficult concepts. Now, you can solve all your queries using AI tools from the comfort of your home. While there are countless instances when something goes wrong with ChatGPT, I have found a tool that handles complex math and science questions more efficiently.
Simplifying Complex Problems with MathGPT
MathGPT is an AI tool I discovered recently, and it is by far the most accurate AI resource I have used for studying. So far, MathGPT consists of four different sections: MathGPT, PhysicalGPT, AccountingGPT, and ChemGPT.
I have always been a fan of studying visually. So whenever I have a question I usually turn to YouTube before resorting to an AI tool. However, realistically, YouTube doesn’t always have the answers I need.
While it’s easy to find videos on key topics, the chances of coming across my exact question are low. This is where AI tools can help – all you have to do is enter your question, and the tool will generate a detailed solution in a matter of seconds. For example, I couldn’t figure out how to solve this multiple-choice accounting question.
Even if I can find the exact question on the internet, the solutions are often full of complicated notation and symbols, and sometimes just looking at them makes me want to put off studying for the day. However, AI takes a different approach.
MathGPT breaks down complex problems into steps. You can also click the Generate Video Explanation button to create a script and video explaining the solution in just a few minutes. Although it’s basically the same solution, the steps are timed with explanations on screen, which has been really helpful for me.
The best thing about MathGPT is that the video solutions are tailored to your needs. For example, in my calculus class, my professor solved the question using an equation I hadn’t seen before. I sat there blankly, trying to follow along, but couldn’t understand anything. As soon as the class was over, I asked MathGPT to solve the same question, telling it that I wanted to solve it in the way I was familiar with.
Create ready-made practice problems instantly
I have always believed that solving practice questions after understanding the concept is the only way to approach STEM subjects.
While using the prescribed textbook for practice is an option, college-level textbooks often contain hundreds of questions, and finding the most suitable question for practice can be very difficult.
This is where MathGPT has been a great help. My exams often include questions similar to those asked in my assignments. So, I usually upload some of my assignment questions and ask MathGPT to create similar questions for me, either with the same or higher difficulty level.
This way, I save myself the time spent sorting through endless questions and can focus on the topics I have the most trouble with. If I get stuck on a question, all I have to do is ask MathGPT to solve it!

We all make silly mistakes like multiplying two numbers the wrong way. When this happens to me, I spend several minutes staring at my solution, trying to figure out where I made a mistake. This can be frustrating, especially for long questions where I understand the concept but get lost in my work because of a simple calculation error.
Another thing MathGPT can help with is checking your solutions and identifying errors. For example, I pasted a physics question on kinematics with my work and asked MathGPT to verify my solution because my final answer was wrong.
